During Sunday’s game between the Chicago Bears and New England Patriots, Kyle Long was called for a penalty when he appeared to yank Akeem Ayers off of a pile that had formed on top of quarterback Jay Cutler.
However, when taking a closer look, you can very clearly see Ayers kick out at Long’s crotch.
Nice work by Mike Pereira to spot that. And, for what it’s worth, Long appeared to appreciate it.
