Utah Jazz forward Jeremy Evans is known for essentially two things: 1) he won a slam dunk contest that nobody remembers (in 2012), and 2) he can jump really high. And by “really high” we mean really, really high. The photo above shows him maxing out at 12 feet, 8.5 inches on a vertical jump at P3 Sport Science Institute. Some folks on Instagram questioned the validity of the mark by pointing out the maximum height of the measuring apparatus was only 12 feet, 5 inches. However, P3 clarified that the apparatus was 12 feet, 3.5 inches, but they mounted it on a stack of plates which added the extra five inches.
Either way, it’s an impressive leap.
