World Series: Tampa Bay Rays v Philadelphia Phillies, Game 3

Apparently, Monday night was a slow night around Major League Baseball. I don’t know this for a fact since I spent my night watching hockey, but I’ve come to that assumption after seeing that over a dozen teams used to their Twitter accounts to have a Taylor Swift sing-a-long.

It started off with this tweet from the league’s official account. Seemingly harmless enough.

But things started to escalate pretty quickly thanks to the work of the Dodgers and Giants…

Then the Reds got involved, which basically signaled an open invitation for other teams to join the party. There was no turning back.

Was it planned? Possibly, but even so…nice little display of creativity all around. That is, of course, except the Indians, who apparently don’t know the difference between Taylor Swift and the Goo Goo Dolls. Embarrassing…
