It hasn’t been the best rookie season for Willie Cauley-Stein. After the Kings made an aggressive play by taking the defensive-minded big man from Kentucky with the sixth overall pick in last June’s draft, Cauley-Stein has underwhelmed amid a sea of drama in Sacramento.
That underwhelming season continued when Andrew Wiggins was ready to obliterate his face before Cauley-Stein realized he had no chance and pulled back block attempt.
