Dustin Johnson would probably like to forget his 72nd hole at the 2015 U.S. Open, one that cost him an outright victory with the missed eagle putt and one that cost him an 18-hole playoff with the missed par putt. After walking off the 18th green, he quickly lofted the ball that was used during the infamous 3-putt into the gallery and now it can be yours.
According to sports gossip website Terez Owens, the man who caught the ball is looking to sell and although it’s anyone’s guess as to what the value is for a ball that was involved in one of the more depressing 72nd hole debacles in major history, it’s still a pretty cool piece of sports history.
This might sound like a sketchy deal, but the site has the exclusive track to sell the ball therefore you’ll need to contact them if you want that ball on your mantle.
