What would make arm wrestling better? Being allowed to beat the piss out of your opponent. Duh. Extreme arm wrestling has been around for years but it shockingly remains a little-known sport while regular arm wrestling somehow gets ESPN coverage.
XARM is an extreme arm wrestling league that aims to combine boxing/kickboxing/UFC with arm wrestling. It was created by UFC founder Art Davie in 2008 and while it hasn’t seen an explosion in popularity yet, it remains a crazy sport. During the three-round (one-minute rounds) match, competitors’ waists are bound to the table to prevent either from escaping vicious blows of their opponent.
