Four months ago, the Dallas Mavericks acquired guard Rajon Rondo from the Boston Celtics and the move was widely applauded by the heavy majority of Mavs fans, leading many to gush over a bright future. Unfortunately, that sentiment is no longer thriving in north Texas.
It’s unclear what type of long-term future, if any, awaits Rondo in Dallas, but it’s extremely clear that those Mavericks fans are ready to move on. With their team staring at an early playoff exit at the hands of the Houston Rockets, the fans are very fussy, especially at Rondo, with one fan even writing a clever song to show how he feels.
