Running onto the playing surface is foolish in any sport, but there are a couple sports in which it’s deadly foolish. During practice runs for the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai, one fan decided it would be apparently fun to dodge security, hop the barriers and scamper across the track in-between two cars.
The idiot wasn’t particularly close to getting hit but one stumble or slip would likely have resulted in death. According to the Daily Mail, upon crossing the track, he ran into a Ferrari garage and said he wanted to take a car for test spin around the track. Shockingly, the Ferrari folks declined his offer and instead allowed authorities to arrest him.
