If you were watching last night’s Lightning-Panthers in Tampa Bay then you might have noticed a bit of an oddity by the Florida bench. A person in a full NASA spacesuit was seated right next to the Panthers’ along the glass, sneaking into frame every now and again and reminding you that…sometimes…hockey can be out of this world.
A friend inside the Lightning organization tells us this was a clever little bit of advertising, which kind of makes it a little less funny than if someone just randomly decided to take in a hockey game dressed as an astronaut. But still pretty funny considering that’s still an actual person taking in a hockey game dressed as an astronaut.
