The Chicago Bears entered 2014 with high hopes for a playoff run but have been politely humbled. Actually they’ve been embarrassed in a very rude fashion by multiple teams.
Following Monday’s mind-bogglingly ugly home loss to the Saints, one that dropped them to 5-9 on the season and only 2-5 at Soldier Field, Bears fans are not exactly loving life right now. Outside of a few key contributors, namely Matt Forte, Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall, almost everyone is being blasted for a poor campaign. It is unlikely that embattled head coach Marc Trestman survives Black Monday and the ENTIRE front office could very well be shown the door in what could be a complete housecleaning.
