Running on to a baseball field will get you a lifetime ban from the stadium and levies the charge of reckless endangerment, which in most states is a penalty of six months in jail and up to $500 in fines. Knowing the punishment, this guy running on to the field at Kauffman Stadium on Thursday night was totally worth it. During the eighth inning of the Kansas City Royals game against the Los Angeles Angels a fan stormed the field. As he was being pursued by security he ran directly to the pitching mound, slid to the dirt and stole the rosin bag. The cop chasing him also hit the dirt, but wasn’t able to recover as quickly as the Royals streaker. He was eventually tackled and arrested. We thank you Royals streaker for giving us a highlight to this mediocre season.
