Fifteen years after the shocking 1997 murder of Notorious B.I.G., the autopsy report detailing his wounds sustained in the drive-by shooting have finally been released.
The report, released on TMZ, confirms that the Brooklyn rapper was shot four times in a drive-by shooting on Wilshire Blvd. while he was sitting in the passenger seat of a Chevy Suburban.
According to the report, three of the four shots were not fatal – as the first bullet hit in his left forearm and traveled down to his wrist; the second hit him in the back, missed all vital organs, and exited through his left shoulder; and the third hit his outer left thigh and left through his inner thigh after striking “the left side of the scrotum, causing a very shallow, 3/8 inch linear laceration.”
Unfortunately, the fourth bullet was fatal, entering through his right hip and striking several vital organs, including his colon, liver, hear, and left lung, before stopping in his left shoulder area.
