Mario Balotelli will need some of those $1 bills (British pounds, but whatever) he took to the strip club a few days ago. He might be fined nearly $400,000 for staying out late just two nights before a game.
The Manchester City Striker was photographed leaving a strip club in Liverpool, England at 2:45 a.m. on Friday morning. Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini bans his players from going out at night within 48 hours before any game.
Balotelli scored in Saturday’s win over Bolton, but he missed a number of chances early in the game.
After the game, Mancini was questioned by a reporter about Balotelli’s adventure and said it was the first he’d heard of it. He added that if it was true, he would fine him the maximum amount, which is two weeks wages (or $396,000).
Let’s hope those lap dances were worth it.
