The NBA lockout has basketball players really stepping out of their comfort zone. The latest casualty we have is CP3 and his family making an appearance on the Family Feud.
Nola.com had the run-down:
“…got in the game over the summer as any family would, by calling up the show’s player hotline (323.762.8467) and requesting an audition. They tried out in New Orleans during auditions held in conjunction with the Essence Music Festival. According to a show spokeswoman, there were no pre-arrangements made to inform casting producers that an NBA superstar would be trying out with his family.”
“I didn’t know who he was,” said Gaby Johnston, executive producer. “I had no clue.” She added, “we’d done NBA players before on the show.” Sure ya have, Gaby.
