The NFL Scouting Combine is both the most interesting and boring non-sports sporting event of the year. The league’s annual parade of workouts, interviews and other tests will not reveal loads of unknown information but it can play a decent role in where a player is slotted on various big boards leading up to April’s draft.
That still does not change the fact that it’s not the most exciting event in the world. Although it’s probably impossible to make it more breathtaking, would it be better if some Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models were partaking in the festivities, say the 40-yard dash?
