The FCC received three separate complaints stemming from Tom Brady’s prodigious use of the word “fuck” during the Packers and Patriots game on November 30th.
Brady, who has stated that he thinks the word is “great”, recently put the blame on the television broadcasts for their decision to (repeatedly) show Brady cursing.
“I wish I did have a better mouth out there at times, but there’s nothing that quite expresses the way I feel like that word. It is, it is [a great word], especially in the heat of the moment.
…Blame CBS and NBC for putting it on TV. Don’t blame me.”
Turns out, the three people who filed complaints agree with Brady, given the FCC complaints that were obtained by The Smoking Gun.
Basically, what can be gleaned from these is that the FCC must get a lot of complaints that can be summed up like this:
