The Boston Red Sox might not have made a return trip to the World Series in 2014, but David Ortiz is ensuring he’s still bringing smiles to Massachusetts families. Ortiz surprised three military familes (one active and two veteran) families with tickets to Game 1 in Kansas City on Tuesday night.
Tom Pittman (Iraq and Afghanistan veteran), Doug Whalen (Iraq veteran) and Molly Alesch (active servicewoman) will be honored during the seventh inning stretch of Tuesday’s game.
