The weightlifting competition to determine the 2014 Europe’s Strongest Man was held earlier this month and Game of Thrones star Hafþór Júlíus “Thor” Björnsson took home the title because he is an absolute monster of a human.
The 6’9, 420 lb. Icelandic strongman, who plays The Mountain on the hit HBO series, destroyed the competition (and his own clothing) through a number of challenges that require insane physical strength. Check out the highlights above, which includes this gem around the 2:00 mark:
That would be Thor ripping his own shirt to pieces before doing an interview in which he screams “I AM THE FUTURE OF STRENGTH, AND I AM THE KING OF THE STONES!” to an extremely attractive and extremely terrified reporter.
