Throughout her college career with the Iowa Hawkeyes, women’s basketball sensation Caitlin Clark became well known for her deep three-point shooting as she finished as the most prolific three-point shooter in the history of women’s basketball. And now that she’s in the WNBA, it seems that her deep three-pointers haven’t stopped.
During Thursday night’s game between Clark’s Indiana Fever and the Seattle Storm, Caitlin Clark hit an insanely deep three-point shot from the logo that even elicited a reaction from the Storm fans in attendance.
Clark caught a pass well beyond the three-point arc and didn’t hesitate as she hoised the three-point attempt from the edge of the midcourt logo and drilled it, much to the delight of the commentary team on the broadcast.

“Clark from WAY downtown and knocks it down,” the commentator said as she drilled the three-point shot from the logo.
Earlier this year, Indiana Fever head coach Christie Sides indicated that she wanted Caitlin Clark to work shift her focus from deep three-point shots and get more comfortable taking long two-point shots.
“I think she’s used to some shots that she’s taken in the last few years that are just those deep shots,” Sides said. “There’s times she comes off ball screens where she’s open in that long 2 area, and we’ve got to get her comfortable taking that long 2.”
Clark clearly did not do that here, but it worked out for her.
