Fantasy Football owners who have been holding onto Sidney Rice for 10 weeks, will have to wait another week. Sidney Rice will hold off playing as another week is needed for his hip to fully recover. He was not added to the active roster today. The Vikings left the decision up to Rice, who is about four months removed from significant hip surgery.
“It’s really based on how he feels,” Childress said, “and if he feels like has all of his faculties to be able to be effective. Playing NFL football, that’s the bottom line. He can practice as much as he wants to. Some of the soreness is attributed to playing full-speed football here for two weeks.”
