The Sacramento Kings lost last night in a valiant effort against the Los Angeles Lakers 116-108 during an overtime game in which could be the last one they ever play in Sacramento. You can see below Kings play-by-play and color announcers Grant Napear and Jerry Reynolds sign off for the 2010-11 NBA season for the Sacramento Kings on April 13, 2011. When the final buzzer sounded, thousands of fans refused to leave their seats, doing everything they could to protest the franchise’s possible move to Anaheim. Some cried, others took pictures. But all cheered in one, booming voice: “Here we stay! Here we stay!”
Thursday the Maloofs, who own the Kings, will make their case to the NBA Board of Governors that the team belongs in Anaheim, not Sacramento.
