During Sunday’s London marathon Tiki Gelana got into a pretty nasty collision with wheelchair racer Josh Cassidy. It definitely seemed like both participants were none too pleased, and for good reason as the crash kept both from winning in their respective categories. Cassidy had won the 2010 men’s wheelchair race in London and Tiki is a former Women’s Olympic champion. Tough luck on both of their behalfs as the accident did not seem malicious on either side.
