The tumultuous career or Oregon cornerback and punt returner Cliff Harris has come to an end. Harris, who has been suspended since October 24th, was dismissed for good due to a violation of team rules according to Head Coach Chip Kelly.
Harris became a fan favorite after proclaiming “My name is Cliff Harris and I’m hear to lock s**t down,” in his first team meeting. He was a concensus All-American last season as the Ducks made their run tot he BCS Championship game against Auburn. Harris returned four punts for touchdowns last season and developed a cult following with a dedicated facebook page.
