As the Kansas City Chiefs made their run through the playoffs and ultimately to Super Bowl LVIII, a wild conspiracy theory began to circulate suggesting that the relationship between Taylor Swift and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was a ploy by Joe Biden to increase his popularity and secure more votes in the upcoming presidential election. The theory got so popular that Biden has now been asked about it publically.
During a recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Joe Biden was asked his response to the conspiracy theory and whether or not he and Taylor Swift are actually in cahoots – as 18 percent of Americans reportedly believe – and he had a little fun with his answer.
“Where are you getting this information? It’s classified,” Biden joked in response. “That’s classified information.”

However, Biden did point out that Swift has supported him in the past.
“But I will tell you, she did endorse me in 2020,” Biden said.
Biden was then asked whether or not he thought that Taylor Swift would be supporting him in the upcoming election, likely against Donald Trump once again. But he declined to give an answer.
“I told you, it’s classified,” Biden said.
