
You may remember Georges Laraque as one of hockey’s greatest enforcers. His 2010 retirement from the NHL, however, has led to a blossoming career in politics. After ending his career in his hometown as a Montreal Canadien, Laraque joined the Green Party as deputy leader. He is now getting ready for a Montreal riding, where he will be running for a seat in the Canadian House of Commons as a member of the Green Party.
In honor of this big news, let’s revisit one of our very favorite Georges Larauqe moments.
