In just a few months, Tom Brady will be taking on a new challenge as he steps into the broadcast booth for the first time, joining the Fox NFL team as the lead commentator replacing Greg Olsen. And while Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is not necessarily happy that Olsen is being replaced, he made it clear that he thinks Brady will do well.
During the most recent edition of his New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce called out Fox for replacing Greg Olsen, saying that the network “did him dirty” with the move.
“I love my guy Greg Olsen. They kinda did him dirty over there at Fox,” Travis said on the podcast according to the New York Post. “But I mean, it’s Tom Brady, what can you do? Sometimes you just gotta do your thing. And Greg does a [freaking] tremendous job.”
But he also made it clear that he thinks Tom Brady will do an excellent job in his new role.
“Fantastic, because he’s [freaking] Tom Brady,” Kelce said of the legendary quarterback stepping into a new role.
We’ll have to see how Brady ultimately performs as he steps into this new role this season.
