Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are the most famous celebrity couple on the planet. And there are certainly downsides to that fame, not just for them, but for their friends, too.
On the latest episode of the New Heights podcast with his brother Jason Kelce, guest Niecy Nash-Betts — Travis’s co-star in his television show Grotesquerie – opened up a little bit about how her life has changed since she became close to Travis.
Nash-Betts said that she regularly gets texts asking about Travis and Taylor’s relationship, but she doesn’t answer them because that is none of anyone else’s business.
Travis clearly appreciated that response from his co-star, but he also made it pretty clear that he does not exactly appreciate the situation that his friends and loved ones find themselves in as a result of his situation.
“I appreciate you always,” Travis said, “And every time someone that has a mic in front of you always asks you something like that, thank you for always showing up.”
Kelce also answered any questions that people may have about his relationship status.
“You know it’s real, and you know that me and Tay are absolutely happy,” Kelce said.
Travis and Taylor have now been dating for a little over a year after they took their relationship public last year when Taylor attended one of his Kansas City Chiefs games.
Since then, Taylor and Travis have become the most high-profile couple on the planet.
It’s not clear what’s next for the couple, but it is very clear that they are quite happy together.
Though, as Travis admitted, it sounds like he isn’t necessarily happy with all the drawbacks of the fame.
