Tom Brady could only express his love of cold weather games in the most Tom Brady-est way possible.
With temperatures around Foxborough expected to be fairly low (and by “fairly low” I mean 16 degrees or so), Tom Curran of CSNNE asked some Patriots players how they prepare to play in the cold, especially considering that Bill Belichick apparently doesn’t like having his players using things like hand warmers during practice:
During the Patriots early afternoon practice on Wednesday, Bill Belichick saw something he didn’t like.
Guys shuffling around with their hands in their hand-warmers.
He let them know – in blunt terms – he’d prefer not to see that. And away they went.
And while most of the answers that Curran received were equipment-based (sleeves vs. no sleeves, gloves vs. no gloves), Tom Brady had a “bleeping” fired-up answer to how he gets ready for cold weather games.
“I know exactly what to wear. I know how many layers to wear every degree. I’m a (bleeping) machine, man, I’m a (bleeping) machine! C’mon baby!”
Hilariously, Curran thankfully also wrote down exactly what Brady was wearing while he boasted about being a “(bleeping) machine” in frigid temperatures.
(Speaking through a black, polyester headwarmer that covers everything but his nose and eyes)
Sigh, never change Tom Brady.
