In news that will undoubtedly cause everyone outside New England to break out their tinfoil hats and likely cause Bill Belichick to warmly smile to himself in the privacy of his own locker room, the Pittsburgh Steelers coaching staff notified the NFL that they were hearing the Patriots radio broadcast in their headsets during the team’s season opener at New England.
NBC says Steelers coaches were getting Patriots' radio broadcast in their headsets.
I mean, you cannot make this sh– up.

Of course, with the media-driven summer-long sports seminar on The Ethics of the New England Patriots’ Deflated Footballs and ESPN’s recent expose on all the ways that the Patriots reportedly bent the rules in their favor over the years, stuff like this, while MOST LIKELY UNINTENTIONAL AND IN NO WAY THE WORK OF DARK BELICHICKIAN MAGIC, ends up looking slightly suspicious to those prone to paranoia.
Of course, Twitter was quick to speculate on the whole matter:
Quite believable RT @AndrewSiciliano Al says the Steelers coaches were getting the Patriots radio broadcast in their headsets. Unbelievable.

Did Al Michaels just say that #Steelers coaches were getting #Patriots' radio broadcasts in their headsets!?!? Bruh.

Bahaha the Steelers are getting the Patriots radio network in their headsets? Perfection. Belichick the boogeyman at it again

The Steelers headsets aren't working? The Patriots have never been accused of messing with radio frequencies before. Oh wait…

Seriously, days after being accused of jamming head sets, the Steelers are getting the NE radio broadcast? Unreal. Shut these folks down.
