The Seattle Seahawks were beaten by the St. Louis Rams on Sunday and the Rams official Twitter account decided to enjoy a good bit of gloating after the game with this Tweet.
Hey @DangeRussWilson, don't delete this… https://t.co/MJmLa9lUDW

The Tweet that the Rams asked Russell Wilson not to delete was one that Wilson posted on Saturday. In it, Wilson seems to cockily predict that his team would prevail over St. Louis.
1-0.

Of course, after the Rams lit up Wilson on Twitter, the internet exploded with posts on how Wilson got badly burned and trolled by the Rams for his supposed arrogance. However, as Wilson clarified on Twitter, the whole “1-0” thing wasn’t an actual prediction for the game but more of a philosophy to attack every week with the same mentality.
Our goal is to go 1-0 every week. We fell a little short today, but looking forward to getting back to work! #GoHawks

And here are some Tweets from years past that back up Wilson’s statement.
1-0 mentality! #GoHawks!

Amazing @Seahawks team win! Unbelievable effort on the road! 1-0. #GoHawks #WhyNotUs

Besides, this is Russell Wilson we’re talking about. I’m pretty sure that he’s incapable of spouting anything but the most bland corporate brand talk imaginable. Boldly tweeting trash-talk just isn’t the guy’s MO.
