Russell Wilson will not have to wait long before taking on his former team this upcoming NFL season as the Pittsburgh Steelers are set to take on the Denver Broncos in Week 2 of the 2024 season. But it sounds like one of his former Broncos teammates has a warning for him ahead of that matchup.

During a recent interview on Denver Sports 104.3, Denver Broncos linebacker Jonas Griffith had a pretty clear warning to Russell Wilson as he made it very clear that he wants to snag an interception off of his former teammate.

“I’m really excited obviously for any game I get to play in,” Griffith said. “But you see that one you’re excited to go out there and — beat the Steelers, first of all, it’s a great organization. I want to pick off Russ, for sure. I think that would be really cool, just to pick him off and get the victory, first and foremost.”

Needless to say, this warning for Wilson led to a lot of reactions on social media.

Of course, Wilson has to earn the starting role with the Steelers before any of this is possible, but it seems like he’s currently the frontrunner in Pittsburgh.
