It’s no real secret that 35-year-old veteran quarterback Russell Wilson is past the prime part of his career. In fact, his past two seasons in the league have been arguably the two worst seasons since he became a starting quarterback in the league. But it doesn’t sound like he’s given up hope on winning multiple Super Bowls before he retires.
During a recent interview with Brandon Marshall for his I Am Athlete podcast, Russell Wilson revealed a pretty insane goal for the final few years of his career, telling Marshall that he hopes to win two more Super Bowl championships in the next five years – though he doesn’t necessarily know who he will be playing for.
“I hope it’s in Denver…. I love the city and everything else, but you also want to be in a place that wants you too,” Wilson said, according to Romi Bean of CBS News Colorado.

Obviously, if Wilson were to play in the league for five more seasons, he would be 40 years old. And while it’s not unheard of for a quarterback to play into his 40s, it is certainly rare.
But it sounds like Wilson isn’t planning to retire anytime soon.
