This week, Houston Texans defensive end and probable superhuman J.J. Watt visited Texas Children’s Hospital to delight some kids in a Batman costume.

In a short segment posted to the Houston Texans’ website, Watt can be seen posing for pictures, signing autographs and playing games with some very happy kids (He also displays a pretty passable Christian Bale Batman voice). A full version of the video will reportedly be aired on The Today Show this Sunday.
According to ESPN, Watt regularly makes trips to hospitals when he has a day off.
Watt’s reasoning for doing these sorts of visits is, well, pretty heroic.
“I know what it’s like to be a kid who looks up to football players and I just want to be that guy that parents can point to and say, ‘He does it the right way.'”
