Only a week ago in the middle of his offseason, defensive superstar Von Miller caught a nine and a half foot hammerhead shark. It is an impressive feat if you’re even a tiny bit into fishing. As is the case in many news stories nowadays, someone is angry about Miller posing and catching the hammerhead shark.

The group angry? PETA.
In a statement to TMZ, PETA says they are trying to “ensure Miller is held accountable.” They have even taken it as high as the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC). PETA believes that Miller and the people he was with killed the shark illegally.
“FWC has received the images and video and is looking into whether or not a violation occurred in this incident,” Rob Klepper, FWC Public Information Coordinator, told TMZ in a statement. It appears that there aren’t any significant repercussions for the incident but could receive bad PR if this drags out for a long time.
Miller won’t lose much sleep over all of the hullabaloo from PETA.
