This year, the Kansas City Chiefs became the first team in over two decades to win back-to-back Super Bowl championships. And it sounds like United States President Joe Biden is taking a little bit of inspiration from their dominance.

On Friday afternoon, the Kansas City Chiefs visited Joe Biden at the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl LVIII victory over the San Francisco 49ers. As part of the festivities, Biden gave a speech to the players to congratulate them on their accomplishments, but he also didn’t waste the opportunity to call out his political opponent, Donald Trump.

In his speech, Biden made it clear that just like the Chiefs, he wants to win “back-to-back” – meaning back-to-back presidential elections against Donald Trump.

“Welcome back. Welcome back to the White House. Super Bowl LVIII champions. The Kansas City Chiefs,” Biden said according to Pro Football Talk. “The first team in 20 years to win back-to-back. Winning back-to-back. I kind of like that.”

Biden is obviously referring to the upcoming election, and his comments led to a lot of reactions on social media.

The Chiefs were able to pull off back-to-back victories. We’ll have to see if Biden can do it this upcoming November.
