The New York Jets have claimed wide out Braylon Edwards off of waivers after being cut by the Seattle Seahawks last week. This comes just one week after Edwards called the Jets front office ‘idiots’ and said that Mark Sanchez was a ‘beast.’
Don’t blame Sanchez. I played there. Blame the idiots calling shots. Mark is a beast and will probe it when given a proper chance

But, Edwards then went on to apologize for his comments shortly after.
I would like to apologize to the Jets family and my fans for my emotional outburst.Mark is a friend and former teammate, who I…

The Jets are thin at wide receiver, as Stephen Hill was diagnosed with a sprained knee Monday. They opened up the spot for Edwards by dropping running back Kahlil Bell on Tuesday morning.
Edwards returns to the Jets after playing for them in 2009 and 2010. He had only eight catches for 74 yards and one touchdown for the Seahawks this season.
