Earlier this year, Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Emmanuel Acho received a request on his Instagram from Hannah Delmonte, asking if she could take him to her prom if she could get 2,000 retweets on Twitter.
Instead of saying yes or no, Acho decided to up the ante.
Acho told Delmonte that if she could get 10,000 people to retweet her, he’d take her to prom. Of course, because this is the internet that we’re talking about, Delmonte easily reached the 10,000.

Acho’s prom saga took another turn late last week when he surprised Delmonte at her school with an Eagles jersey that had “Prom 15” on the back. Delmonte was clearly moved by the gesture.

Hopefully, the dress code for Delmonte’s prom will allow for customized Eagles jerseys because this is all too adorable.
