During the height of his playing career, former NFL All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown was one of the biggest stars in the sport. Since his abrupt retirement, however, he’s been one of the most controversial sports figures in the country. And it sounds like he’s leaning into that controversy a bit by supporting Donald Trump.

During a recent interview with OutKick, Antonio Brown offered his endorsement to former United States President Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election against Joe Biden as he had some very high praise for Trump.

“Yeah, I’ll endorse Trump,” Brown told OutKick. “I’ve never met him. I’ve got admiration for his business moves and I study his dad Fred Trump. But, I think Donald Trump is a good businessman and come[s] from a good family and has been a good president.”

Obviously, this endorsement from Brown led to a lot of reactions on social media.

Brown has been the subject of many unsavory headlines since his retirement from the league in 2021. To name a few, Brown exposed himself to a woman in a public pool in 2022, allegedly defrauded a jewelry store that same year, and has been accused of failing to pay a large amount of child support in addition to leaking an intimate video of the mother of some of his children. He also recently filed for bankruptcy.

Needless to say, Trump might not actually want his endorsement.
