Last year, Cleveland Browns star quarterback Deshaun Watson missed the latter portion of the season after he suffered a shoulder injury that ultimately required season-ending surgery. But as the team prepares to begin its offseason program, it sounds like Watson’s recovery is going according to schedule.
During an interview at the NFL’s annual league meetings this week, Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry gave a pretty major update on Deshaun Watson as he announced that his recovery is going well and the team does not anticipate any setbacks at this point.
“All the medical work that’s been done at this point in time, Deshaun’s recovery so far, it’s been really positive,” Berry said according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com. “We’re not anticipating any issues.”
Obviously, this is pretty significant news for the Browns as they get set to begin their spring practices, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media as a result.
his track record is that his rehab does not go very well at all. i'd be concerned if I were the browns

Ha! It’s as if no one knows his history.

Of course! Because there’s definitely no anticipated issues with cutting the checks from his camp.

We’ll have to see how Watson looks in his return to the Browns next season and if he is able to remain healthy, especially considering how many games he has missed with injuries throughout his career with the Cleveland Browns.
