On Thursday night, former Jacksonville Jaguar Josh Scobee missed two field goals which ended up costing the Pittsburgh Steelers the game against the Baltimore Ravens. Scobee was released yesterday to no one’s surprise.
Today, the Jaguars had a chance to beat the Indianapolis Colts at the end of regulation when Jason Myers lined up to kick the field goal. He missed his first attempt but was saved when Chuck Pagano called a timeout to ice the kicker. Myers then missed his real chance which forced the game to go into overtime.
While in overtime, Blake Bortles and the Jags drove the ball down again setting up Myers for another game winning kick. Which, you guessed it, he missed. The Colts ended up winning the game when their kicker, Adam Vinatieri, actually made a field goal.
