Good News/Bad News, Los Angeles Lakers Edition
Good news: the Lakers won last night. Bad news: Detroit is really, really terrible, so it’s nothing to brag about.
Good news: the Lakers are now 5-13, and not technically the worst team in the Western Conference. Bad news: a .278 winning percentage still only puts them on track for about a 22 or 23-win season.
Good news: the Lakers are undefeated (4-0) against the Eastern Conference. Bad news: the Lakers only have 26 more games against the Eastern Conference. Double bad news: the Lakers only have one win in the Western Conference so far.
