Andrew Hammond and the Ottawa Senators have officially overtaken the Boston Bruins for the East’s final playoff spot, but Hammond’s stellar play is not the only hamburger-related torture B’s fans have had to endure lately.
Montreal Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty apparently has his own McDonald’s burger – called the Max 67 – and he decided to travel to Boston to spread the word while messing with some fans of his team’s arch-rival. Those poor Bruins fans were really enjoying their free burger until they figured out that it was attached to the name of one of the Habs’ biggest stars, then they quickly changed their tune.
The way this year is going, Bruins fans will develop an irreversibly hatred for all burgers by season’s end.
