James also declared that Clark is the sole reason for the growth of women’s basketball and the WNBA this season.
“The one thing that I love that she’s bringing to her sport, more people want to watch. More people want to tune in. Don’t get it twisted, don’t get it [messed] up. Caitlin Clark is the reason why a lot of great things is happening for the WNBA,” James said on the podcast.
Clark appears set to become the biggest star in the history of women’s basketball, and it’s clear that she has the support of the NBA’s biggest star, as well.
