July and early August can be the worst time of the year for NBA fans since the season and free agency are over for most players. But the Drew League is the NBA fan’s fix to all that. Not only do fans get to see their favorite players play, they get to see them ball out and for free most of the time. And nowhere else do fans get to watch the NBA’s premier players duke it out with each other on the court so freely. This game features two all-star shooting guards in James Harden and Klay Thompson.
Harden’s ineptitude on defense is really overblown, but it’s funny how Thompson was guarding him on one end, and he didn’t take him on the other. They could have been playing out of position though. It is the Drew League after all. And have you ever seen an ending for a mixtape like that? Did Thompson get blocked or not?
