Gilbert Arenas hasn’t exactly had the smoothest transition to his post-NBA life, and he hit another road bump today. Arenas was arrested early this morning when California Highway Patrol pulled him over for speeding in the Los Angeles area. Police found a ton of fireworks packed into Arenas’ pickup truck, so much so that the bomb squad had to be called.
Arenas was booked for possession of illegal fireworks and cited for speeding (he was going around 80 MPH) and driving without a license.
With the Fourth of July only a week away, Arenas is now going to call in some favors with his fireworks supplier.
