At 6’10” 225 lbs, you wouldn’t expect to see Danilo Gallinari breaking ankles with his crossover and throwing no-look passes. On Sunday, the Nuggets forward showed us why we should expect the unexpected from him.
Memphis’ Quincy Pondexter decided to D up Gallinari outside the three point arc, and was immediately embarrassed by the lanky Italian’s nasty crossover to behind-the-back move. Danilo then finds Chris “Bridman” Andersen with a flashy no-look pass, leading to an easy layup right before the first quarter buzzer. Gotta love these Euros changing the game.
