Yasiel Puig keeps getting robbed, but that hasn’t worried him one bit, apparently.
TMZ caught up with the Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder who’s home was burglarized last week during Game 7 of the World Series. It’s not even the first time Puig was robbed this season, as back in March more than $500,000 in stuff was taken from his home.
This time, roughly $150 in costume jewelry was taken, but still, Puig isn’t too worried about it.
“I ain’t worried about that shit,” Puig said to TMZ, “I have a fucking lot of money.”
Puig is correct. The 26-year-old is currently on a $42 million contract, so $150 isn’t that much of a loss for him. Although, I’m sure he wished robbers never entered his home.
There are two lessons here:
1) Puig is incredibly wealthy
2) He probably should hire better security.
Thankfully, nobody was hurt and nothing of value was taken (this time). Somehow, I doubt Puig gets robbed a third time, but if he does, don’t look for him to be too upset about it. Puig’s probably acting like this.
