There are few broadcasters alive who can match the gravitas of the legendary Vin Scully. So, the fact that he was on hand to call Clayton Kershaw’s no-hitter against the Rockies makes Kershaw’s phenomenal performance all the more enjoyable to watch.
MLB.com compiled clips of every out of the no-hitter and they wisely used Vin Scully’s work as the play-by-play announcer for the highlight reel. For something as awesome as this, it was only fitting to have one of baseball’s best broadcasters on hand to make the call.
