Diamondbacks catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia apparently has a little decal of Chuck Norris on his bat because he thinks that it’s cool.
I guess no one has the heart to tell Salty that we don’t live in the mid nineties or the early 2000’s, when Walker, Texas Ranger and Chuck Norris jokes were still a thing.
Still, maybe the bat does contain some mythical Chuck Norris power. During Sunday’s Padres-Diamondbacks game, Saltalamacchia managed to go 1-2 with a double and a walk and the Dbacks won the game by a score of 7-2.
