The Nationals-Braves game on Tuesday was definitely one of the most entertaining games of the short 2015 season. The Nationals ended a six-game losing streak in erasing an eight-run deficit in Atlanta, capped by Dan Uggla’s 3-run bomb in the top of the ninth inning to give Washington a 13-12 advantage.
It was an odd ending to an odd game, with the former Braves infielder burning a team that he struggled mightily with over his last two seasons in Atlanta. It was expected that Uggla would receive some sort of celebratory smothering of food or other product and while we appreciate the creativity from teammate Max Scherzer, the chocolate syrup decision appears to be a gross one:
